I never really got into the whole audio book thing, I guess I'm old fashioned and actually like to hold a book in my hand to read it but the other day I searched for audio books for download and came across CBS Radio Mystery Theater, don't know why it was classified as an audio book but nonetheless I download one and gave it a listen. WOW.. everyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for stuff like this, old time radio (though it started in the 70s) broadcasts of macabre & spooky stories, with the corny drama music they used in old time soap operas.. its campy and plain fun. So after listening to the first one yesterday on the way home from work I searched for them again and ended up downloading 50 or so more. I'm so excited to start listening to the rest of them, I did a search online this morning and found a site that sells the complete run of the series from 1974-1982, all 1399 episodes for $40! So maybe I'll end up buying the whole set, but for now I'll enjoy what I have. I definitely recommend checking them out (Make a donation and you can listen to all 1399 episodes!).. now....back to Invaders From Atlantis!....
