so i said i wasn't going to build this thing in the last post, but after i talked it over with my dad this weekend, all plans are a go. it was kinda funny, i mentioned this to my dad about how i wanted to build it and he jumped right on it and was like "we" can do this, and "we" can do that, it was cute cause i didn't come out and ask him for help even though i was planning on it but he took charge right away and said "WE" were building it. i love my dad he's pretty much tied up every weekend for the rest of the summer and into fall with it being camping season (my parents have a seasonal "house" not a trailer, this thing is a full blown house with a 2nd floor loft on both sides, it's pretty awesome) so i don't know if i want to go over there during the week and try to work on it a little a night or just wait till october when their season is over and then build it throughout the fall so come spring next year it's all ready to go (even though i had my heart set on getting it in the water this season, but it can wait another year i guess) all that's left is for me to go buy a skipper hat and anticipate my first voyage....
