I've been on a break from my insect collecting for awhile now and I really want to get back to it, my parents bought me this amazing Tarantula specimen for Christmas that I LOVE, the one I have now is a replacement for the first one whose one leg was broken in shipment. The first one was much larger than the replacement but whatevs, it's still pretty bad ass. It's mounted in a double glass frame so you can see the underside of it as well, photo below.

I have a few old butteries in one frame that I bought at the Chelsea flea market last time I was up in New York but I've been wanting to get some newer butterflies because these have definitely faded over time. So I've been coveting a butterfly specimen set on this website for months and today I finally decided to buy it. 15 butterflies for $50 is a good deal so I go to add it to my cart and what a surprise.... out of stock... I guess other people know a good deal when they see it. So I'll just have to wait until it comes back in. They have a 25 butterfly collection for $100 which is really nice but I don't know if I'm willing to spend all that right now.
