I haven’t blogged in awhile so here’s a little update. My birthday was on the 1st, I know.. Happy Birthday to me… As an early birthday gift to myself I bought a laptop! It’s an HP mini netbook so it’s smaller than a traditional laptop but with all the same functions. I absolutely love it. My parents bought me A Fruit Bat specimen for my collection and I must say it’s the one creature in my collection that’s a little unsettling when I look at it. It’s VERY creepy. Instead of asking for gifts from my sisters, this year I decided to tell them to give me the money they were going to spend on gifts for me and I was going to donate it to the World Wildlife Fund. So They gave me money and I added some as well and donated $50 to the WWF. It’s not a lot but it will help and I’m glad I did it. I also participated in Earth Hour on the 28th, I tried to get everyone I know to do it as well but it seems like I was the only one who actually did. I made my boyfriend sit and eat dinner in candle light, haha but he didn’t see it as romantic just annoying because he couldn’t watch TV.
