The butterflies I ordered came in the mail yesterday and all I could say was WOW. The specimens are gorgeous, nice and bright and beautiful. I hung them on the wall but I'm going to do a better arrangement over the weekend because I don't like how they look now with all the other specimens. I'm running out of room on that wall! The specimens are:

The Common Commander - Limenitis procris
The Spotted Sawtooth - Prioneris thestylis
The Fivebar Swordtail - Graphium antiphates

The Tailed Jay - Graphium agamemnon
The Cruiser - Vindula arsinoe

The Tawny Rajah - Charaxes bernardus
The Yellow Nawab – Polyura jalysus

The Constable - Dichorragia nesimachus
The Common Mormon (male) - Papilio polytes
The Hill Jezebel - Delias belladonna

The Yellow Moth - Dysphania militaris

The Common Tiger - Danaus genutia
The Red Helen - Papilio helenus

The Siam Tree Nymph - Idea leuconoe

The Spot Swordtail - Graphium nomius
The Archduke - Lexias pardalis
The Dark Blue Tiger - Tirumala septentrionis

The Lime Butterfly - Papilio demoleus
The Common Indian Crow - Euploea core

The Striped Albatros - Appias libythea
The Common Jay - Graphium doson
The Lemon Emigrant - Catopsilia pomona
The Common Mormon (female) - Papilio polytes
The Great Orange Tip - Hebomoia glaucippe

They are tagged with their common names and I spent last night researching their Latin names just because I like to know all that info, where they're from, life cycle and all that good stuff. I'm definitely going to buy from this guy again.

And I got a male and female specimen of the Atlas Moth:

The Atlas Moth - Attacus atlas

If you want to get an idea of what each specimen looks like the list above is separated into the vertical lines of the butterflies, so starting from the left would be The Common Commander, The Spotted Sawtooth, etc. I plan of taking detailed shots of each specimen so keep an eye out for a future post with those.
