so it's been awhile since i've posted anything and i have no good reason why. just lazy i guess. i've taken up hiking again though.. it's been a long time since i went hiking so last weekend a bunch of my friends and i went to wissahickon park for a lil' hike with our dogs.. it was a nice sunday afternoon and winston loved it. so this weekend i decided to hike with winston a portion of the batona trail in the pine barrens. the weather again was beautiful the trail was nice and we both had a good time, that is till i got home and discovered 10 ticks on my body before i took a shower... gross... and to help me freak out even more i checked the dog and he had 20 of em that i picked off. luckily they were just kinda walking around and hadn't latched on yet, but just in case i decided to give winston a tick bath, a couple more fell off after the rinse and i thought we were good... i thought wrong, after he dried i sat and picked though his fur to see if i could find anymore and i did, like 20 MORE... god i hate ticks, so i ran out and bought frontline and now i'm hoping that it does the job. i should have been more prepared for the hike but i didn't have a problem last weekend so i just thought i would be ok, so all in all it was a good day, i just hope me or winston doesn't get lymes disease or something.. enough tick talk, on a lighter note enjoy some shots from the past two weeks....
