so this wasn't my first choice for the video of the week even though I LOVE this song and what propellerheads did with it, but my all-time favorite Shirley bassey song is "this is my life". If you have time, go watch it (the guy who owns the clips has a monopoly on shirley bassey clips and he doesn’t allow embedding, if he did, this clip would be here instead of this one) It's from her 1987 live in berlin concert and her vocals are just amazing, especially when she sings the chorus when she hits the endnote in this is my "life" wow! the disco version is worth a listen (check out the video, there's obviously no homos in the audience, cause if I was there you better believe my ass would be shaken or something) i tried to find her performance of "this is my life" from her concert at carnegie hall, which is by far the BEST version of this song but youtube came up short… ah well…
